Does Migrate Easy work with USB drives?

I have a laptop PC with 40gb drive. I bought an 80gb drive and a USB enclosure.

Can I use Migrate Easy with the 80gb drive setup as a USB drive connected to the laptop? If not, how can I clone and migrate to this new disk?
