I know that we here in Canada only provide a few crew members as well as the Canada Arm, so I really want to thank the American public for funding such a worth while cause.

I imagine that Canada actually contributes quite a bit the scheme of things in the space program. The arm being just one of them ;)

I really wish the British had of kept up ther space program (bluestreak), but i hope the launch goes well. NASA hopefully will get it working;)

Future flights have now been grounded,

July 27 (Bloomberg) -- NASA is grounding its shuttle fleet after cameras showed foam insulation appeared to break off the shuttle Discovery during its launch into space yesterday, Cable News Network reported.

Apparently, news reports in Australia confirmed that the Discovery Space Shuttle hit a bird on take-off. No joke, I actually saw that happen when I was wide awake (pfft... lol. I was half-asleep) watching the launch at 00:27 hours from home! :o
