Hi,

I don't know if this question has come up earlier already - a search did not bring any results...

since I don't have much of an idea about how SpywareBlaster's cookie protection works (ie what particular kind of cookies does Sb protect against...) I would like to ask if only IE is protected - or if this protection is valid for Opera (and other browsers) as well?

TIA
Tat

I remember reading somewhere SpywareBlasters uses the cookie handling of IE6 to get the job done, so it would only work for that browser.

Thanks, Metallica! That's what I almost guessed already...

Well - actually it does not matter too much, as Opera has a quite safe and well configurable cookie handling - and if I'm surfing unknown beaches I'm using WebWasher anyway...

Still... - would be nice if SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard would work with other browsers than IE as well... :)

Tat

I was referring to the spyware/tracking cookies. The other protection works independent of the browser. Both for SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard.
