Zero Knowledge Systems is back in the anonymity business, just not quite like before:

Here's a story from USA Today
http://www.usatoday.com/life/cyber/tech/review/2002/3/13/privacy.htm

And a link to the WebSecure website:
http://www.freedom.net/products/websecure/

Anybody have a preference between IDZap, Anonymizer, some of the others? And now, WebSecure?

I've only used IDsecure, but I would imagine all these services suffer the same drawback: *slowness. *I don't know if it's caused by too great a demand or simply by adding another node along the path.

Checkout: That's been my experience as well. Anonymizer seems pretty fast, but the free service doesn't use the encryption and I think that contributes to the slowdown. I am thinking of plunking down $15 for three months and downloading their new "button" thing that goes right on the browser, that looks easy enough.

see 'ya,
