Hi All

The following messages are popping up:
swdoctor.exe tried to install a driver/service nmamed 'mchlmjDrv', and
swdoctor.exe was blocked from terminating smss.exe

So, which 'Global Protection Options' is it OK to allow for Spyware Doctor?

Also, smss.exe has rights to 'read, modify and terminate' and install drivers and access physical memory....is this OK.

Does anyone know of a list of PG settings to use with the range of security software generally in use....I know of the list on the DCS website, which is very good, but are there any others?

Any help much appreciated.

Regards

Frank

I have PG set up that way with smss and give Spyware Doctor the rights it needs. Everything works fine and they all seem to be happy. :)

Hi Frank

A generalization. If you buy a program, one should assume you trust it. Just set it up in Learning Mode per the help file and you should be fine. Don't try to manually set up every new piece of software.

Thanks Beetlejuice and Peter.
Sound advice....I'm probably being just a little bit paranoid!

Thanks
