View Full Version : Warning message stops further mail being downloaded

Although I've been using NOD32 for some time this is my first post here and it's possibly rather stupid!

I don't use Outlook so IMON scans my email and when it detects a virus, up comes the warning message asking me what I want to do (usually delete).

However when the warning is in place, mail stops downloading and only restarts when I've acknowledged the message. That's OK when I'm there but if I want to download mail automatically without my intervention, what then?

(Told you it was a stupid question) :-*

Cheers,

John

You should set NOD to perform an action rather than send a prompt. Look at post forty two in Blackspear's guide to setting up NOD.

Also in NOD32 system setup, on the advanced tab.. you can set warning windows to automatically close after x seconds (by default 300sec or 5min). The rest of mail should continue downloading once the window has been autoclosed.
