Ah...my young e-o,

It's as plain to see, as the egg on yore face, that yoo earned yore B.S. in B. S. at the "Eduardo & Buckerino Unavarcity" of higher lernin. Under the tootleage of Prof. "Baked Bean Man" }-
Dear Prof,

As you know you recently arranged for me to pass out at your University.

While, as long as no charges are brought, I am more than happy to remain ignorant of those missing hours. I would also like to express my surprise and thanks at the 'Buckie's Bean Bugle' tattoo I later discovered had been added to my butt.

Sadly the reed, which you felt necessary to have inserted to complete the ensemble, wasn't a total success. Three evenings ago I was officiating at 'Camp Chickenhearted' and during a particularly heartfelt rendition of the classic 'reveille' the reed slipped. Fortunately it wasn't a total failure - while the eternal poigniancy of the moment was lost, I was at least able to attract a large formation of wild duck and the lads ate well.

I feels truly honour'Ed - but really, me - an 'Imposterous' ?

I fear not, even after all my efforts and training, I can still only dream of that day. For now I'm just gonna have to settle for accepting I'm only a beginner - or 'Pre-posterous' as I've come to be known.

I don't know why I bother arguing w/yoo Young e-o,

Tread softly an drop a hunk of pork in da beans! Messing around w/the receipe at this late date cud have dire consequences. Instead of the familiar and melodic sounds that we hold dear...Phhttt...Brrraaatt ..... followed by a "Pardon Me" .... the new sounds generated would be unfamiliar so the ensuing scramble to get upwind cud be disastrous.

Slow down you two with the par excellence reparte, and give an old guy chance to keep up with the proceedings.....

The only good thing about this conflab is, it is being perpetrated by a Brit (E-O) and an almost Brit (darlin' Edsky)........and so, I don't feel too bad......

Not to worry Coheinie,

You can probably relieve some of the discomfort in your reposterie if you use one of those inflatable cushions when you sit. Things have gotten a bit out of hand so now would be a good time to break for a spot of Repar Tea. "One lump or two"? (it's an old Heckle and Jeckle routine).

Zoo Apes Have Taste for Red Wine
Reuters
BUDAPEST (May 23) - Monkeys and apes in Budapest's Zoo drink their way through 55 litres of red wine each year, albeit in small quantities each day, to help boost their red blood cells, the zoo said Monday.

Budapest Zoo spokesman Zoltan Hanga said it was the 11 anthropoid apes who drank most of the wine in 2005.

"Obviously, they do not have it all at once and get drunk, but they get it in small amounts mixed in their tea," Hanga said.

"And it's not Eger Bulls Blood or some expensive wine that they are getting but simple table wine, as it's mainly good for their blood cells."

Bulls Blood from the town of Eger in northeast Hungary, became one of eastern Europe's best-known wines under communism.

Pooh has had it in for Piglet since day one.

Piglet was sworn to expose Pooh as a card cheat who tricked him into losing the family home (see the original proofs and you'll note the book should have been titled 'House at Pork Corner'). Owl, who pretends to by dyslexic, but is in fact a master forger, doctored both the original deeds and the print galleys. The nearest they have to law enforcement was Tigger, but he was sidetracked when Christopher Robin, the local land owner, cruelly tricked him into developing a thistle habit. Thistles that Christopher Robin controls the supply and distribution of.

BTW-'Chise- the Queen wants her tiara back, seems you left a can of beans in it's place?

She's not a big fan of that brand of beans on her toast!

NOW we know how Buck and Beans got started!:o:o
Didn't know ya had a famous relative over here, did ya, Buck!:D

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello, afterlifers and believe-it-or-not types, and welcome to Bucksport, Maine. Today the beans have traveled into the cemetery to bring you yet another adventure into the world of mysterious happenings from beyond the grave. (With apologies to Count Floyd: "Oooh - scary, boys and girls!")This is the gravesite monument for Bucksport founder Colonel John Buck. Now, what makes ol' Johnny's marker interesting is the stain on the front - what appears to be a woman's leg. Some say she's wearing stockings, some think it's a boot. Either way, there's little denying that it looks a whole lot like a dame's gam.
But why is it there? Well, this is where the story gets interesting... According to local legend (gossip?), the stain came around after Col. Buck burned a witch at the stake, and her medium-rare leg rolled out of the fire (SPEWWWWW!). Her understandably ticked-off son placed a curse on Johnny boy's grave, saying that the image of the leg would forever haunt his eternal rest. And so it does, to this day. Supposedly they tried cleaning it off, but the stain keeps coming back. (But now that it's a tourist attraction, there's no way it's ever coming off, now is there?)
Of course, naysayers have scoffed this theory for years, and rightly so. There never were any witch burnings in Maine, and quite frankly, don't you think that they could've come up with something a little more devastating in the way of curses than tombstone graffiti? I mean, all those eyes of newts should be good for something a little more darker...
Regardless, the frijoles enjoyed their time in the graveyard, and encourage all of you to keep an open mind about mysterious curses, lest you end up in a can with a picture of beans all over it... Oh, hey! Wait!
