I am unable to find a way to boot from a CD from the OS Selector. This seems like a *very* strange oversight and every similar program I have -ever- used had this option displayed automatically. Am I missing something?

I am also wondering about this. I would have thought that you could load in a CD and have it boot to install a new OS. But Disk director does not see my CDROM, DVDROM or USB Memorystick even though they all show in the bios boot before acronis disk director loads.

Hello robinsiebler, cmc,
Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Management software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector/).
We regret to inform you that the current version of Acronis OS Selector included into Acronis Disk Director Suite 9.0 doesn't support booting from the CD drives. So you should select it manually in the BIOS of your computer.
However, this option will be available in the next version of Acronis Disk Director Suite that is planned to be released this autumn.
Thank you.
