NEW FACES AT MILAN
The Rossoneri fans have hailed plenty of news from the transfer market these days. The 2005/06 team has been almost defined, being enriched with big names.

After the signing of midfielders Johann Vogel and Marek Jankulovski, Milan’s front package has been enriched with a striker who will be able to give a great support to Sheva and Co: Christian Vieri. The Bologna-born forward started his career at Torino and after collecting meaningful experiences at Juventus, Atalanta, Lazio and Atletico Madrid, he spent the past six seasons at Inter. The Italian international, who has also collected 44 appearances and 22 goals with the Azzurri, put pen to paper on a two-year contract with Milan yesterday.

On Monday, the club also announced the signing of Dimitrios Eleftheropoulos. The Greek goalkeeper played with Messina last season and will replace Christian Abbiati next year at the Rossoneri. Eleftheropoulos, 29, made impact at Olympiacos Pireo where he also won the title as the best UEFA Champions League goalkeeper in 1998/99.
