Just navigate from my computer to D:

but not advisable to make image on same drive, as if drive crashes so does your image, try a CD or DVD..

My nephew only has one drive. I made a secure zone in the second partition (D) - yes, if drive dies then no image but if not he can still recover C drive using the secure zone and "F11" on reboot.

Hello a.ruiter,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

You can create image on the same hard drive (on other partition). If you create an image on the same disk (partition), we recommend you to store an image in the Acronis Secure Zone.

The image file also can be stored on CDs, on DVDs, on a network drive or on an external drive.

Thank you.
