bitdefender file>bdlite is wanting internet access

I recently have installed bitdefender free 7.2 on my machine, with norton05 as my resident. But Program Files\Softwin\BitDefender Free Edition\bdlite.exe, keeps trying to acess the internet!

I know this is part of bitdefender, but what is it trying to send or do. pls any ideas welcome?

do you have the bdnews agent enabled or auto updates?

just disabled auto updates and virus reporting, so could it of been the reporting aspect of the software trying to send info out?
