Version 1.1.2 of B3D Killer is out.

New features are the addition of a couple more registry keys.

Also, the B3D Killer webpage has a nice new home, couresty of Wilders Security Organization. *:) (I cannot thank them enough - the free website was close to being knocked offline from number of visits and downloads.)

New version AND new homepage are here: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/B3DKiller.html

Enjoy! *;D

Thanks for that one.

One question though: doesn't Ad-Aware take care of it?

Or does this program do a more thorough job?

Thanks!

Tony - If you've been affected by Brilliant, I've read that the three programs (B3D Killer, BDE Remove and AA) each found different, or additional, keys that they'd remove.

Since Javacool's updated his, maybe it's catching all of them now, but running the other two as cross-checks couldn't hurt *- especially since all three are free and don't take up much disk space or resources. Pete

Thanks, Pete!

My surfing and D/L habits are pretty boring, to tell you the truth( ;)) , so I'm having no problems with B3D myself
A lot of folks at the boards I frequent do, however, *so it's good to be able to spread the word that there's another tool available to clobber this little b*gger.

Cheers,
