Hi,
Im using F-Secure 5.41, and have noticed that although the virus definition database updates every day, the definition for the Orion engine has not been updated since 2003-03-25 (listed as revision 1.02.21). The AVP & F-PROT engines update daily.
What is going on - have any other users of this product noticed this, or is it a problem with my system?
Chris.

Hi ChrisP!
I think it might be a bug. I'm pretty sure that your virus definitions are up-to-date!
Hey, by the way you could be helpful to us! Could you please tell us how many processes F-Secure 5.41 is starting at the startup of the computer (processes running in the background) and how big they are? And secondly when you have just restarted your computer, can you tell us how many mem these processes are consuming in idle state (Ctrl-Alt-Del -Task Manager)?
Thanks for your kind help! :D
Best regards!
Patrice

When I used F-Secure before, that about the way it updated for me.
You can check for the latest updates on their webpages I believe.

The Orion engine is the heuristic engine of F-Secure. Therefore this part gets only updated if the heuristic engine could be improved.
