How to stop Avast schedule

I have Avast home edition. During the 60 days full version I set up a weekly scan. When it converted to the home edition it kept this schedule. Trouble now is that it is taking too long and slowing the m/c to a crawl. I have waited over 4 hours and in the end rebooted to get rid of it.

I cannot find anyway of removing this weekly scan. Anyone any ideas please.

Yes, and seems to have stuck when it auto converted to home.
