How do you run nod32 2.50.25 as scanner only? I have installed it along side kav 6. I didn't turn on anything at setup, but still 16 MB are being used be nod32krn.exe <--- is that neccessary to be runned for scanner only?

just disable all of nod32's modules, services, and startup. then to run the on-demand scanner, go to ur start menu > eset > nod32. dont click on control panel but just nod32. i dont have nod32 installed atm, but im more than certain that how to do it.

Open the Control Center by right clicking the NOD32 Tray Icon, Double click the Protection Modules and uncheck the enable button.

Hi
If real-time monitor of an AV is disabled (and the startup entries is removed) then tray icon will not appear. remember he installed NOD to access on-demand scanner only
