As it seems BDE is "answering" the fact their software/spyware is being targetted; here's an announcement from the Lavasoft Team:

So, they're going to take over peoples' computers whether they like it or not, huh?

Quite an escalation on their part.

I sincerely hope that LS, javacool and Keir do their best to keep pace with this.

I also sincerely hope that someone takes Brilliant to court over this. Pete
