There's a new "personal" edition of F-Secure available for those interested, seems like same power with new interface :)

F-secure is very, very, very good and I think it is one of the best. F-secure 2003 doesn't consume as much resources as F-secure 5.41. Also, 2003 comes with less features but packs the same powerhouse punch, the only thing I don't like is the interface, it's horrible!!!!1

Can you be more specific about that? I would appreciate the following additional information:

a) How many processes are started and running in the background?

b) What's the size of these processes?

c) What's the amount of mem consuming by these processes in idle state?

F-Secure is certainly a good AV-scanner and has a good support. I used it before, but in the end, there were too many processes started and running in the background.

Best regards!

Patrice

Hi Main
Just checked on F Secures HP.
I actually like the interface ;D
Without doubt a excellent product, but 53 usd are rather expensive , i think.
Tried a trail recently, and it worked just fine.
