McAfee Daily updates VS. weekly updates?

Why have a daily and week update? Also what McAfee virusscan can use the daily, home or pro?

Both versions can use the daily updates.
The daily updates are betaversions released to use in a serious emergency situation, or if you absolutely insisting on daily updates.
The weekly dats comes via the instantupdater, and have been quality checked a littel more.
Anyway, during a serious virusoutbreak, there always will be released a dat, through the instant updater.
You can compare Mcafees daily dats, with Symantecs daily intelligent updates. :)
