Hi i always been great fan of the software you made i love them all

was wondering if anything new in the works.

also wanted to know hmmm there no modest way to say this and im sure a person as sought out as you to busy but i figure i ask any way.

you think you can make a simple utlity for ie security settings

im not sure if i asked you about this befor if i did it was verylong time algo

my ideal is you know those security settings i love like disable java and active scripting ect ect

will it be cool if there was a utlity that would change those all from custiomized to default like an off and on switch

mainly to stop violent scripts gator pop ups javah applications ect ect

the user could adjust his settings in the utlity have utlity rember them and toggle betwen his customize settings to microsoft ie default settings is that even posiable

kinda like boclean hta stop on and off switch

Well, you named BOClean.
There is a program called IEClean (for Internet Explorer) and his brother NSClean (for Netscape) from the same company as BOClean: from Kevin and Nancy: PSC.

IEClean is able to do exactly what you want, and lots more !
I'm a diehard fan of IEClean, and am using it for a long time.
It's not free.

Yes, HTAstop was also made by PSC.
Everything that HTAstop does, does IEClean also, and lots more !

Once you have set it up right and in the way you like, it will do its work for you. Then you don't need to change difficult things anymore. It will run silently in the background. You could open it and toggle those settings in my previous screenshot on/off if you like.

PSC has some great freebie utilities - and IEClean is certainly worth the money. :)

Of course - but I have to be tight-lipped about it for now. ;)

Well I'm fairly certain that even if I created a toggle on/off program for a few IE settings, that you would need to close IE and re-open it for those settings to be applied (i.e. it wouldn't be so easy to just disable/enable ActiveScripting with an external program between every website you browse to).

I'll look into it a little more if I have time, but I do believe that limitation exists.

Best regards,

Yep, that's the way you have to do it too in IEClean.
