My wife got WordPerfect on her new Dell and has managed to switch from M$ Office without a hitch.
I noticed the price on that and didn't realise it had become so pricey. I remember when it was free. :'(

I tried software602 once. The free version is just one big ad with no features for the paid version. You can't even customize the spell checker or just about any other option.
