I use Thunderbird and never see the NOD32 tag...

my Pop is 995 and the SSL is 465 is that why?

It does appear that AMON is scanning some but not all email


HELP!!! :lurking:

Welcome.

Encrypted email cannot be scanned. NOD's realtime scanner will catch any malware before it can execute.

You can still use IMON for checking emails, even if you use SSL. You'll only need to install and configure Stunell (www.stunnel.org) properly.

You can use Outlook XP or 2003 and EMON will check incoming and outgoing e-mail even if the connection uses SSL.
I've Gmail that use SSL and EMON scan all of my e-mail traffic thank to the MAPI protocol.
