-{ Quote: "Internet security specialist Symantec Corp. has turned the tables on browser toolbar startup Hotbar.com Inc., filing a lawsuit to retain the right to flag Hotbar products as a potential security risk for PC users.
Symantec's suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, does not seek monetary damages. Instead, it is asking for a legal judgment supporting Symantec's position that Hotbar program files "are indeed adware and can be treated as computer security risks."" }-

If anyone can file a lawsuit & win , I would guess Symantec could.

Go Peter Norton !!!

And they did it without alot of support from people in this forum ;)

Fellow Creatures,
Symantec is just looking out for their own interest. True any favorable out come for them will be a set back for "crapware peddlers" and a win for all 'AntiCrapware" developers.

Indeed I will be pulling for Symantec as well, just keep it in prospective it is not out of the kindness of their heart. That is all I am saying. ;)
