winxp sp2: just installed trial verson 8 (850) a few days ago, and set up a secure zone on a seperate HD. My understanding of the secure zone is that windows programs are not allowed to access it. So, why then, am I allowed to mount it as a virtual drive and copy files from it, but not to it? It appears in all programs as a drive.

Hello stumcl,
Please accept my apologies for the neglect of your questions. Acronis Secure Zone is a special area on the Hard Drive that is exclusively used by Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/) to store backup images so it is not visible to the computer’s operating system and can only be accessed by the Acronis True Image application.
Thank you.
