HELP, HELP! spywareblaster

Bonjour! a frenchie!, my english is not so good, sorry!

I'm experiencing a very strange behavior with spywareblaster! i.e.

1) it leaves unprotected all by itself, a HUNTBAR variant!. Why?
2) If I check the red Huntbar variant, it WRITES in my registry
local software microsoft internet activeX
{8952a998-1e7e-4716-b23d-3dbe03910972}

which is supposed to be a pest???

Can you help??

No I dont have pest patrol, but SPYBOT teatimer
The question is :

a dangerous active X?

And why such a strange behavior? Version 3.4

By the way, I have installed spyguard 2.2 at the same time

compatability??

which is supposed to be a pest???" }-That entry is just one of the many entries Spywareblaster has in it's database to help prevent Internet Explorer ActiveX controls such as HuntBar from installing onto a users PC. In order to apply that protection....Spywareblaster has to WRITE in your registry. The link below explains what setting an ActiveX kill-bit does in preventing certain ActiveX controls being loaded.

Also....since there are quite a few security\privacy cleaning programs that do Falsely remove valid protection in regards to Spywareblaster....Please tell us the programs you are using....operating system, AV\AT, spyware\adware cleaning programs such as SpyX :-\

Also....your e-mail addy has been edited out again in order to prevent possible e-mail harvesting by the unscruplous individuals on the net.

1) Yes I have adminstrator rights
2) I am FRENCH so my english is far from perfect (sorry)
3) Do I understand well that spywareblaster IS on purpose writing in my registry {89...huntbar variant..} ? to protect MY computer??

4) I have in the startup:
AVAST updated AV
Sygate personnal Updated
WinPatrol
Spybot+teatimer
spyguard22
BHO demon

5) it is pest patrol ONLINE that pointed out the pb with {89...Huntbar.}

I have not found ANY other trace of any installed program that comes with this huntbar variant;

Hope to have been extensive enough
