Why are programs like Advertising.com still showing up in spybot?

Most of the time I run in Netscape and will run Spybot to clean up. I am still seeing programs like Advertising.com and Avenue A, Inc which I thought were being blocked by Spyware Blaster. What am I doing wrong?

Also....do you recall where exactly Spybot is finding those tracking cookies in regards to the folder on your hard drive ?

Hey Bubba,

Thanks for replying. I am in 7.1. The best I can determine is that it is in Monzilla. (Can you tell i am not the most prolific of users.)

Have you confirmed that you have the Mozilla/Firefox protection enabled ?

If so....it may be you are having a known issue that crops up from time concerning Netscape. I'll wait until you have checked if protection is enabled before even going down that road.

Yep it is enabled
