Counterspy update is 22 may 2005????

i thought u ppl said that counterspy has the same updates as microsoft antispyware plus there own????

:D I don't know .... WHAT is going on with CounterSpy these days !!
The last update for me was on May 20 & it was Definition Version # 180.

I check every night & there have been no updates since then. ???

Not very impressive .... I must admit. :(

As far as I know, Counterspy is supposed to have the same defs as the Giant Companty Antispyware (Microsoft Antispyware now), plus the added detection of tracking cookies (which Microsot/Giant Antispyware doesn't have).

CounterSpy also does additional quality testing to reduce false positives. They also add their own definitions and will be adding a whole lot more once they get the Spectre system they bought set up.
