Dynamic Unpack folder

On my old computer TDS3 had a Dynamic Unpack folder that wouldn't clear itself after a scan. I downloaded TDS3 on my new computer and it doesn.t have a Dynamic unpack folder. There is an EXT.Unpack folder. Is it the same?

Are you talking about this sub-folder in your TDS-directory: \xDynamic\TDS.Unpk\

Have you already done a full system scan on your new computer?
TDS-3 itself creates that sub-folder during a scan.

That sub-folder \xDynamic\TDS.Unpk\ is NOT the same as \Ext.Unpk\

The sub-folder \Ext.Unpk\ has a few files for unpacking files.
By default:
unpack.cfg
upx.exe
upx.txt

Please leave those files in \Ext.Unpk\ untouched !!!
Only the very most experienced users (with lots and lots of knowledge about unpacking) should go there !!!

The files in \xDynamic\TDS.Unpk\ can you manually delete if you wish to do so.
TDS-3 will re-create them ;)

What are your subfolders of the folder \xDynamic\ at the moment?
\xDynamic\ has the following sub-folders:
TDS.cfg
TDS.data
TDS.fps
TDS.Unpk
If you don't have some of them, then you can make them by yourself.

Hello Fan J The only sub folders in X Dynamic is cfg and fps. I did a scan last night and that is the only folders in there.

Please make the following sub-folders in the folder xDynamic

TDS.data
TDS.Unpk

Make sure that you get their names exactly as I posted.

We talked already about TDS.Unpk

As for TDS.data :
Without that folder your CRC32 test in TDS-3 will not work properly.
Of course I do not know whether you use the CRC32 test in TDS-3.
It is one of its many features :)
After you have made that sub-folder, reboot, start TDS-3 and run the CRC32 test, then the following file is in there:
crc32.bnk

I did what you said and after the CRC32 scan the crc32.bnk is in the folder. I will wait till after the next TDS3 scan to see about the Unpk folder. The reason I went looking for the Unpk folder was on my old computer it would not empty itself. When I realized it I had over a GB of stuff in it.

If you like, you can always delete the files in that sub-folder :
\xDynamic\TDS.Unpk\
