Ewido Won't Scan

My paid version of Ewido has been fine in the past, but has now refused to scan. I just sits there and will not start.
Any advice?

I took a picture, and it started to scan. I'll see if whatever it was corrected itself. I noticed it started with Mwav escan. There may be something in that folder that is the problem.

I suspect that the last few updates of Mwav are the cause of some conflict with Ewido. I wonder if there is a way to exclude Mwav in the scan by Ewido?
