View Full Version : Fedora Core 3 HD to HD copy

I build a boot CD with True Image 8 and try to copy a first IDE HD (with fedora core 3) to second IDE HD. They are a 80Gb HD.

After copy I disconnect the first and plug the second as the first.

When it boot appear in the screen "G R U B" and the machine hangs.

I try the same with G4U and work well.

What's the problem with True Image 8

Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.

If the problem still persists please plug-in both of your drives and create Acronis Report in the way described at Acronis Help Post (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317). Please send the report to support@acronis.com along with the link to this thread so that we could investigate the problem and provide you with the solution.

I have register a True Image 8 (826) , and the site said that I don´t have any products register.
So I try to register again, and when I write the serial that I received by e-mail the site said that it is already register

What can I do now ??

I can´t put my serial in forum.

My problem with register was solve.

The last version of True Image is the build 826, you could said to me.

So the problem persist.

Is anybody there that can help me ?

Hello Nelson,

Please send Acronis Report to support@acronic.com (please see http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317 for the instructions). If you don't boot in Windows please download the Acronis Report utility available at http://www.acronis.com/files/support/AcronisReport.exe and run it, create a report (usually named 'report.txt') and send it to us? This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure. We will investigate the problem thoroughly.
