LowWaterMark: The Error message only mentions the MSCOMCTL.OCX Should i still download both files or just this one(MSCOMCTL.OCX)? Thanks Tom

Hi Tom,

There is no harm in getting the latest versions of both.
And if you don´t, you may get a error regarding MSINET.ocx the next time you try to start SpywareBlaster.

Pieter

If you do not feel comfortable with performing all of the actions requested in that post of mine (in regard to installing the MSCOMCTL file), I have just made a separate tool available that will install and register the file for you:

MSCOMCTL Installer (http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/missingfilesetup.exe)

It is a simple installer for the file that will copy the file to your system and register it appropriately. Just a few clicks, and you'll have SpywareBlaster working. :) (Of course, the manual method should still work also, but the installer is a lot easier.)

P.S. In regard to MSINET.OCX, the latest SpywareBlaster installer (i.e. for v2.5.2) will copy the latest version of that file to your system if it isn't already there.
