when i specficly added my personal info on my name middle and last as well as my mail box on the part of registration on who this tds is for=(

do i have to log in would my dads name.

i also am confused at registring usealy you just typ your user name you want your owen personal pass word and your done i got the run around lol.

You'll have to register with your registered name, but you have some choices:
In case your name would be John Paul Doe Blaze
you can use all that, or John P. Doe Blaze or John DB or whatever JPDBlaze, so somehow a real name, no nicknames, and if i remember well you make your own password. So even if your complete name would be
Bert Leo Allan Zoe Edwards you could ask allowance for BLAZEdwards, anyway your creativity.
So looking forward to see you somehow in the private forum!

Don't give up yet, so you have access with your fathers name, that is something, do have the try and in the meantime ask Gavin / support to change it in the way you feel as happy as possible with. For sure there is a solution, don't you think?
Yes there is. Think of all the inside private info and all the marvelous scripts and lots more. I'm not allowed to post details outside the private so you'll have to overcome your name problem somehow and enter the diamond gates.

I've a little problem: as of course we all are worried about your feelings, i wrote a little script especially for you, the MrBlaze Name Change Machine *(Blaze.SS3)

MrBlaze, i saw various new people there, so i don't know who you are of them, can you wave at us there and tell it's you?
For your wanted name change all you have to do is to email support@diamondcs.com.au and they'll make the name change for you, so also from your dad's name into yours. You know it must be a real name, as explained before.
These guys are 12 hours ahead indeed, so imagine how really fast they work!

Besides: the new little script i made especially for you is still waiting to be sent and i know you will LOVE it and only at using it you will know why!
After the wanted name change has been made, you can change it into something else, once you found out some about scripting. (better make a copy first, heheh just in case!):)

Hi Again MrBlaze.
If you run Win98 you might need to get the MSAgent components on this page:

If you try in the TDS-3 directory to run the spchapi.exe which will activate for TDS any speech angine on your system, you can check by typing Speak "hello!" *in the console and listen if you hear it.
Further there is in Windows a folder Msagent\Chars
In that Chars folder is to store any agent you like (there are about 400 known free agents, so there is a lot to store :))
If you have Win2000/ME/XP those agents parts are included already, and 2000/XP have their own version even.
If you don't have, on that download site you need to grag the MSAgent 2.0 the core, steering part) and if you want it in many languages download those too.
After you need the TTS engine to make the agent speak your texts, also these are in several languages, i took them all.
If you want to be able in future (did not build that in this script) to give voice commands to your agent, need the 6mb voice recognition engine, and there are two more downloads for the control panel and one to be able to use third party tts engibes as well.
Not sure if all those different languages are included in XP as well, btw.
Further you need some MSAgent characters like Genie, which i use standard in TDS scripts so others don't need to download all the same about 300 different characters i have. You van install all you want default.
Ehh you have a microphone and speakers connected to your system i hope? (the mic for future)

After unzipping in the folder you create in TDS-3\Scripts\CokeMachine all files except the Blaze1.wav which goes in c:\
you go to TDS console\SS3\Load script\search that Cokemachine folder and double click Blaze.SS3 to start it.
You should get a form with your beloved image and the wav saying something nice to you, while on the console is displayed an instruction how to continue.
You pres the upper button with your registered name on it.
Genie jumps up with some explanation and invitation to press the second button. This makes TDS talk about your name change and you go to the "about page" with a button back to your first form or the stop button.
The stop button tells how to stop the script completely (any ss3 script is stopped with ResetSS3 ) and it unloads the agent.

Hope you get it all working. In this and the private forum are several scripts for you with Genie included.

I'm in several msagents news groups, and learn a lot of suff there. Can asure you in those groups are the real agent junkies :) There have been build collectively amazing characters, like "sniffles" a kind of clown, which they also cut in pieces to all different clowns to play your whole rock band and lots more!
I only play around with ready made characters.
You can use within certain frontieres any good drawing program to make many animations for your own character, which you combine with lips synchronisation and voice and lots more with ACE (MS agent character editor), also available on that download site;
then you can either use html, vb, vbs, js, and other scripting languages (so also a bit of SS3) , you can add them to emails (outlook express), you can make your scripts to play them and read your chats in mIRC, etc.
There are some scripting editors,
like MASH, which i prefer over MASS, AgentPat, several other scripting helpers, in the newsgroups Grandpa Jim uses a lot Costas stationery, so it's really great we can add them to TDS and from such a script we can call other scripts/executebles/etc.
In my cokemachine script i called an exe as with that it was easier to have it voice controlled. If you load the exe in your MASH you must be able to edit it at wish for pathnames etc.

So you see there is a lot to add to TDS: the speech in TDS opened the road to the agent and speech technology for me. TDS-2 had a spoken tour included as kind of quick start beside the helpfile, so i made that little turbo quickstart Genie configuration which i posted here several days ago.

You could make a copy under a different name of the two SS3 scripts and play around a bit with them to change them into something else, add buttons to open other scripts or functions, and another agent, whatever you like.

I learned some via the agents and so step by step to the SS3. Looking into the output of MASH scripts in different languages, vbs, html, eml (for outlook express) etc and digging in the sources and trying what works in SS3.
If you look at your form, Blaze.ss3, you can easily start making the buttons which are now 2500 to 1000 or 1500 and put 4 in that area or make the form longer and put some more buttons extra there.
Copy the parts with the button description and number them on like button(2), button(3); name them something "xxxxxx" and in the script just add lines like
If xButton(xButtonIndex).Caption ="xxxxxx" Then
(and there some action or other script to be called)
Call Addline("TDS' Blaze", "Am i happy now for the next project?")

Make sure your InnerPeace script is in tha tfolder or change the pathname here.
You can add what you want, this is just an easy start.
I made a form with some 14 buttons that way, all doing something else when pressed.
If you copy your Office agents characters (their acs files) you can play with those too, but they have no speech included. No problem, we can have voice via our TDS console. etc etc etc
Via the newsgroups we learn a lot more :-)

Did you check the characters in www.agentry.net ?
There are some devils indeed, a nice little fellow is the nortee devil, which has a whole email client and more, really nice.
There are more frightening ones as well.
From your images you can make a whole row, all same size (keep them small) and that way with ACE you can make animations to build your character with all the lips synchronisation, adding voice, adding the several animations you like (on the MSagent web site was long ago a whole example list for Genie), (you can edit every image in your designer programs of course, see every movement apart as a form which you make transparant, and so you add them into a kind of movie of each animation separate *-- there are some sites to teach you how--
When your character is ready, with a scripting helper you can write a script and call it's animations and paste text to speak, as well with MASH you can also add voice commands it has to play when you call certain keywords.
Still hoping to find ways to have that part in the TDS SS3 as well as TDS connects to all speech engines on the system.
Via the news groups people help each other a lot with all the scripts and technical problems, also the software developers are there and beta testers, generally spoken all are very helpful and playful as the product makes us very creative.
But besides other TDS users, there are no SS3 scripters there. Just sent them today a SS3 script example, which is not even in the private forum yet (will do, as i need help with some SS3 technical parts in it :)
