Hi
Is there much difference if I rollback using XP system restore OR a registry backed up using ERUNT http://www.larshederer.homepage.t-online.de/erunt/
supposing that both (a restore point and registry backup)are taken at the same time. Thanks

Hi hadi,
There is a little bit of difference as a system restore point will also include changes to important files
You can read about System Restore Points on the microsoft site here (http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/app_system_restore_hss_overview.mspx)
There is a section there on "Understanding System Restore"
Hope that helps

Files monitored - "restored" by SR: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/sr/sr/monitored_file_extensions.asp
