I was previously using WinRar, but just started using this program and was floored by features it offers, and it's freeware (that doesn't even ask for donations)

The most notable features I'll mention are:

- The ability to back up your IE, OE, Firefox, & Thunderbird profiles, sytem directory, Windows directory & My Documents directory files, Windows address book, etc.
- Automatically scan archive contents for malware with your AV when opening the file
- Option to automatically highlight certain file types, including a default setting to warn you about suspicious files like those with double extentions, also highlights setup files so you can easily spot it in the list
- Warns you about files in the archive that look like it may be malware, including .exe files that contain scripts, etc.
- Encrypted history with option to clear the list on close
- The suite comes with a password manager!
- Automatically check the archive for damage and repair if necessary
- Explorer type interface that is skinnable, with some nice skins & toolbars included and available for download
- More robust context menu options than WinZip or WinRar

That seems like a nice program, but I'll stick to 7-Zip (Free, open source, simple to use).

If you have 7-zip installed they can work together, this is also incredibly easy to use :)

I did use ZipGenius version 5 for a while but it was too bloated and inflexible for my liking. Those looking for multiformat archive capability (especially zip, 7-zip, rar and ace - the last 2 being extraction only) may find TUGZip (http://www.tugzip.com/) a worthy contender.
