Hi,

When I receive some files from friends in my MSN Messenger, NOD32 scans them automatically using Blackspear's extra settings without any kind of problem.
Now, using the new version of NOD32 with new settings from Blackspear and new version of MSN Messenger, when I receive any file from my friends, NOD starts my weekly scan of C drive, instead of only scan that file received.

Anyone can say if it happens with old versions of MSN messenger ?

Best Regards,

DonKid.

You could try making a new profile in nod32 tab.Call it "download" for example and set all settings that you want the profile to scan (ususally you would leave out memory and boot up scan). Then put the path to that profile in messenger options. The path is usually...
C:\Program Files\ESET\nod32.exe /config=download
Obviously the "download" word in the path reflects the name of the profile created , but you can call the profile whatver you like.
