kav/ZA conflict

i have ZA and KAV 5.0.22
the net connection is not working unles i check the
"disable real time protection" on KAV
when i do it my KAV icon turns grey
what should i do, get another version of kaspersky or leave it like this?

maybe its the kav protection against network attacks (or whtever its called) ur not supposed to use it if u have another firewall installed. dont remember exactly wher eu turn it off but look in the settings and find something called something like 'disable network protection at startup' or smt like that, then reboot

I had a very similar problem with Kav and ZA and it was remedied be disabling the network protection in Kav.
