Just d/l'ed and installed the plug-in for this program a few days ago from here: *http://www.sigaba.com/products/plug-ins.html
Aside from a couple of settings glitches, this thing is really easy to use.
If anybody wants to play (try it out), I'll be glad to respond to any emails sent.
I've got an email out to their tech support, detailing the slight problems I've had with it so far.

There's no version for XP but I'll experiment with the NT plug-in.
Actually, no I won't - this "small peice of software" is too big for a floppy. *Oh well...

Hi Pete!
Gonna give her a try!
While we're on the subject of email encryption made-simple, has anyone tried HOTCRYPT? I gave it a whirl and was blown away by its simplicity. I saw it on TechTV and thought the demonstration looked TOO easy. I downloaded it and it's really amazing.

John - I might give HotCrypt a shot, too, but only after I reach a decision on Sigaba. Due to switching over to cable modem yesterday, I haven't had nearly enough time to properly evaluate it yet.
The only thing that concerns me with the HC info is that to use it to send and receive encrypted emails, it reads the actual computer ID somehow.
While that may be an excellent mechanism whereby to accomplish a positive ID of the computer the email gets read on (although I'm not even sure about that), it does make me somewhat uneasy.
Your thoughts on that? Pete
*And, should we start a separate HotCrypt thread?

Pete,
I just thought I would mention Hotcrypt since the discussion was email encryption. But, after thinking about it, the thread is really about Sigaba specifically. So, we can talk HotCrypt later. I'm anxious to hear what you think about Sigaba after evaluating fully.
