KAV Business Optimal & XP Workstations

Hi - was wondering if anyone has any observations on this:- Purchased KAV Business Optimal and installed the W2K server edition no problems, and running fine. W98 & ME workstations are also running fine. But XP workstations - have slowed such that word / excel etc can take 5 - 10 minutes to open. When you open a browser (IE) and type in URL it chugs along for about 5 minutes or so (doing nothing) and then closes the browser, as if it's given up. I've tried the options set out in Blackcat's post 01/02/03, but no success. Any ideas / suggestions?

Strange... got workstation version here and seems ok so far - have you checked the resident Monitor settings, I recall that "Network Places" is ticked by default to be scanned, I turned it off, so only scanning local drives, maybe it is having to scan across your network???

A general suggestion is to specify in KAV CC that KAV Monitor should run as a local administrator account instead of the local system account.
