How can I make link jump straight to a post in a thread?

I don't know if this is in the rite place.
I want to know how when someone posts a link, and then when I click on the link, it jumps down to a certain post number ? I know how to post a single thread view, but don't know how to post a link, and make it go strait to a certain post. Like for example, someone posts a link to the playing with these pictures thread, and when I click the link, it jumps strait to post # 424.

Right click on the post no. of the post you want to link to and then right click copy short cut and then post it in your post as you would a regular link like this (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=444197&postcount=1)

I am talking about where it shows the whole thread, but jumps down automaticaly to a post number. ;D I have seen it done a few times before, and I want to know how to do that LOL . ::) I will try to find one that goes strait to a post number to show you what I'm talking about. Since I am no good at explaining stuff, LOL ::) ::) ::) ::)

There is no quick button to select....but the key to it is knowing the post #....the p= part below

Ok, so it works the same excact way a view single post does. You just change the words in the url from, showpost, to showthread.
That was very simple. ;D ;D ;D ;D And it took me hours to learn it, duh ::) and my hair is not even blonde, lol j/k ;D
