when i go into Services,i find some leftovers from some programes that have been uninstalled.
Such as antivir updater, and four services from fsecure, etc.
These have been uninstalled, and reg supreme etc used aswell.
Although these are disabled, can someone tell me how to remove these from services altogether.

For Win2000 and I believe for XP....the below registry key is where Services are stored.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SYSTEM / CurrentControlSet / Services

and

Removing Unchecked MSCONFIG Startup Entries

When using MSCONFIG to uncheck programs that you don't want starting, they still remain in the list.
This is generally a good idea since if you make a mistake, you can easily add them in again.
But if you are sure you want them removed and not displayed:

Start Regedit

Go to the follow registry keys and remove any items you don't want displayed

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run-
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run-
