When I am on the internet, I hear a click and porn web pages appear on my screen. I need to stop this happening! Can anyone help??

Hi thevipersnest,

Could you please download Hijackthis from: http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/
There is a short explanation on that site.
Run it, click Scan, click Save log and rename the .log to .txt
Then copy and paste the content of that log into your next post.
If you're uncomfortable with that, feel free to IM or mail it to me.

Pieter, do you think this could be lop (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=7487)? Or maybe it is a dialer. In that case if thevipersnest is on dial-up he might want to speed up getting rid of it, since it could turn out to be quite costly in phonebills.

I´don´t know if lop.com would take you directly to "sites with adult content." I didn´t try out all of them. ;)
But the click thevipersnest mentioned, indicates that you could very well be right about a dialer.
