View Full Version : NOD32 Renewal Question

Today I got a popup telling me that my subscription for NOD32 is almost over. I have been very pleased with NOD32, but I would still like to trial Dr. Web, just to sate my curiosity. How long can I let my subscription lapse before the renewal discount is void?

Also, I realize this is a nagging and often impossible question to answer, but since NOD32 will be undergoing what I consider to be a rather deep overhaul and will be leaving the beta phase, creating some concerns about compatibility, is it likely that that the timespan of lapse and official release will be cooperate and allow me to test out the new version and then decide whether to renew or not?

I hope I have worded my questions intelligibly, and I value any input. Have a great day :)

{QUOTE-> How long can I let my subscription lapse before the renewal discount is void? <-QUOTE}30 days is indeed correct.

{QUOTE-> …leaving the beta phase, creating some concerns about compatibility… <-QUOTE}There really shouldn’t be any compatibility issues, if any. This is why it is the Beta phase.

{QUOTE-> …is it likely that that the timespan of lapse and official release will be cooperate and allow me to test out the new version and then decide whether to renew or not? <-QUOTE}The Beta is FREE to test right now, and it is said to be even more stable that the current commercial release. So I would give it a whirl and see how you like it.

Hope this helps…

Cheers ;D

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm using the beta now and I am very impressed. I'm just a little scared of shelling out for a renewal of something that might not work properly on my system.

But I have faith in ESET, so we'll see :D

{QUOTE-> I'm just a little scared of shelling out for a renewal of something that might not work properly on my system. <-QUOTE}If it works now, it will work for you when it goes to release, there will be very little difference between what you have and what you will get ;) ;D

Cheers ;D
