Can anyone tell why these files are being identified as suspicious files?
c:\programfiles\ahead\nve_3.1.0.0.exe.
c:\programfiles\dvddecrypter\setupdvddecrypter_3.5.4.exe.
Thanks in advance.

dvd decrypter is an open source dvd ripping program. I use it to burn dvd images and back up things.

I don't know the other one, however ahead makes nero, which is a popular cd/dvd burning program.

Hi guys, i suppose there was an alert on dual extensions, not on the file code itself.
In some places this kind of detection is explained:
you could have a file document.txt................................................exe
(the ... are spaces) and that exe all out of sight, you could think it's an innocent txt file and click and get infected, for instance. So also a file.1.2.3.exe is detected as a dual extension.
If your alert was different please post the exact text from the scandump.txt.
