View Full Version : TI8.0 CD does not autorun

Hi there,

I am am trying to install TI8.0, put the CD in my CD drive but it does not autorun. So I am stuck. :(

Other CDs autorun correctly, so I am pretty confident that my Registry settings etc are OK.

Can anyone tell me how I can proceed?
Can I run the setup "manually" ?

Navigate to where the setup.exe is located and launch the installation routine from there.

yep, tried that, both double-clicking setup.exe and right-clicking , Open

but still nothing happens ???

Doh!. Problem sorted.

My additonal hard drives are external (via Firewire) and I had been trying to install TI8.0 with the external discs not connected (so there was only one disc on my PC).

When I connected the external discs and tried the True Image CD again the install autoran and I was able to install the software. :)

Still, it would have been useful if the install had told me with a warnning message why it would not run before.
