i got turned onto process explorer (http://www.sysinternals.com/) right here on this forum. it's not as thorough, but it's free and worth checking out.

That is a very good program . Excellent actually . The Ultimate TroubleShooter is good too . Especially for a newbie to processes .

yes, it is a good program. but, depending on what other programs you are already running, it may be unnecessary or a bit overkill.
