Bootable CD-RW

Every time I try to make a bootable CD-RW I get the message "Error burning the bootable CD-R/CD-RW". Does anyone know the reason for this message? I have installed the True Image update and still cannot make a bootable CD-RW. I have Roxio Basic Easy Media Creator Version 7 installed along with Ahead Nero Ultra Version 6.
