View Full Version : Look 'n' Stop - Settings Lost After Reboot

I just installed Look 'n' Stop and had 2 problems. I loaded the advanced rule set (think that's what it is called) and each time I
rebooted it was replaced by the default set.

The other problem is that after installing the program my Windows 2000 would not shut down or reboot*. CheckDisk and Windows 2000 repair (using the CD) didn't help. Uninstalled Look 'n' Stop and all is well again. This firewall is so leakproof - I hate to use anything else.

* tried several times

Appreciate any help with this

Hi Bil

Welcome to Wilders :)

{QUOTE-> I loaded the advanced rule set (think that's what it is called) and each time I rebooted it was replaced by the default set. <-QUOTE}

After loading the advanced rule set did you save changes?

I will leave the other issue for Frederic or JF.

CrazyM

Hi CrazyM,

After loading the advanced rule set I tried to save the changes, but couldn't see any way to do that. I wish I could open up Looknstop right now and take another look (no longer on my system).
