hello everyone,Was told i could ask in this forum about a TUNEUP UTILITIES question,(purchased code key copy)
situation:I open & eun tuneup utilities ok regularly
in the DISK CLEANUPit runs & shows the results,
""3 files cannot be deleted,they are currently in use or you do not have necessary permission-use to say 2 files,

question Plz,
have written to tuneup utilities support,(no reply)
IS THERE A WAY for me to see what these file are & if nec delete them?
9and yes have ran tuneup in SAFE MODE-but then it show all ok,thank you for the help,"flyboy'

Try running filemon whilst you run the utility and look for the entries that come back with an error on the delete....

There will probably be a fair bit of output, so to minimise it
- run the utility once so it can delete everything it can
- start filemon and monitor just that process (using a filter)
- run the utility again and see what you get
