Stupid advertisment!!!

Every time I start my computer I get some crap advertising thing poping up and then it wants to install some kind of software. I allways answer "no" on installation and closes the popup window, but it is all in german that are sent to me so I can't even write to them or surf on their site to cancel it somehow. What can I do?

Download AdAware, and if that doesn't weed out this malware, consider SpyBlocker (which is a good idea anyway). *I'm presuming that you're running some flavour of Windows, BTW. *In case you aren't already deploying anti-virus, anti-trojan, anti-spyware and firewall packages, you should consider doing so. *The other pages here at Wilders will guide you gently through the minefield if you need it.
