Hello, I was reading my Spywareinfo newsletter to-day. I clicked on a link for Kerio firewall download and immediately BOClean installer launches instead.
What would be the reason for this? :-\

Was BOClean the last software installed? Chances are it's installer is still in the Temp folder, and since sooo many use the name SETUP.EXE, you can probably guess where it's going........
The simplest problem sometimes eludes the most......

Hello Nancy, no, BOClean has been installed since last upgrade. It's not really a problem, just wondering what the cause might be. Temp. folders older than 48 hours are cleaned everyday.
Thanks for reply. :)

What can I tell ya? ??? That's the most commonly seen cause.....and it's something that generally gets forgotten. Hope your "system restore" isn't playing tricks on you.....

OK last time it was used. And just to-night have deleted all old restore points.
To be honest it has happened an odd time previously but I didn't bother until now just as a matter of interest. :)

i have not seen anything like that with boclean, but i keep my temp files emptied, so, if it has something to do with temp files..
try downloading this program to clean your temp files.. there is a free trial, so it won't cost you anything to download it and run it.. i have been using if for years..

otherwise, maybe you have a problem with your registry, i would think..

Hello, another address that launches BOClean installer is;
http://www.techsupportalert.com/issues/al_current.htm
I must mention that I clean all useless stuff from my computer first thing every morning before I fire up. I use CCleaner, it does a throrough job.
redwolfe_98 I will try to find time to give your programme a run and watch for result. :)
I used the named cleaner but I have to now hunt out MS Outlook disc as Outlook won't now open without it.
Also another thing, The address I clicked on is inside the URL above, the address up top is OK. :)
Registry is in good shape, it is cleaned weekly with jv16PowerTools.

Although there was a price, in all fairness I was unable to launch BOClean installer afterwards. ::)
