missing library files needed to run program

Once installed , the program will not run. I get a message that "A required .DLL file, MSVBVM60.DLL , was not found. anothr message is underneath the first one stating "Create Proecess failed, code 1157. One of the library files needed to run this application connot be found." How can I fix this problem and run SpywareBlaster ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kah

Download http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb60pro/Redist/sp5/WIN98Me/EN-US/vbrun60sp5.exe
and install.

That should do it.

Hi,

Just happened to bang into the same on windows95 platform, but have managed to resolve it with "Visual Basic 6.0 SP5 Run-Time Files" installed, goto the full url (take note of truncation if any) below for details:

FYI.. After that, following up with another error message with mscomctl.ocx object, in which the solution has already been highlighted on the author's webpage, goto url:
